For the demographics nerd in me, I found this list of the 100 biggest cities in the U.S. going back to 1790. Of course, there's more where that came from, what with it being the census and all. But I also found a site (in french) with populations of various third world capitals at various points in history. And then this superhuge list of demographic resources.

So it seems that after this spy double-agent whatnot it was revealed the the US dug a tunnel underneath russian embassy in the otherwise uneventful DC neighborhood of glover park. what's more, they were so into their tunnel that they offered tours of the tunnel to counterintelligence officials. And so now the locals have decided to do some snooping around the neighborhood. I love living in washington.

Satirewire, so good!. if their articles were more frequent they would simply fabulous. I particularly like this recent one about the revolution coming and nobody's back being up against the wall.
